I'm taking a break from Tumblr for a bit.  It's fun and all, but I hate that feeling like I'm missing something really really important if I don't check it for five hours, and then I lose three hours catching up.  It's no good.  Also highly irritating in that way it's become a blogging platform.

Sometime Sunday a fire started burning in a marsh in Eastern New Orleans.  It's still burning, and the air everywhere reeks of smoke and makes our eyes water and our noses run and our lungs choke.  It gets into our poorly weatherproofed houses and in our hair and clothes and by the end of the day, we are headachey and tireder than normal.  It sucks ( Read more... )

So, school.  Luckily, my second class required less reading, so I may not actually explode from stress before the end of July, with the exception of the week of my birthday, which requires I turn in two papers and undertake a massive project at work.  Yay.

I'm really glad Chuck got their reverse-undress of Sarah out of the way by the second episode.  Perhaps they won't feel the need to continue to insult their female viewership for a few more eps.  You ever love a show so much that it pisses you off worse when it pisses you off?  Does that make any sense?
